What do you do when it's a rainy night and you can't decide on what's for dinner? A hotpot meal at a joint you've been wanting to try for awhile is a good choice. Ding used to occupy two shop lots but now they have moved into a single lot. Business no good?

Pickled carrot and radish slices for appetizer. Also great when the mala soup gets overbearing. If you can't take anything spicy, go for the cabbage soup. It was surprisingly good and could stand up to the flavorful, spicy mala soup. I would advise that you go for the twin soup option to get the best of both worlds.

They don't have any set option, the soup alone is about RM 18. The rest are of ala carte, ranging from RM 5 to RM 20. There are more expensive choices as well e.g. Iberico pork, scallop which start from RM 30 so choose wisely. Their menu is a notch below Tian Siang Hui, but does taste quite good.

While the pork neck slices weren't sliced thin enough, it did have a sliver of fat so it wasn't too tough and cooked quite fast in the boiling soup. The bursting beef ball didn't have that bursting factor, such a kill joy, only made up by the great filling. Dumplings were huge, as you'd expect for paying RM 8.90. As for the king oyster mushroom, I think Jaya Grocer could sell 2bags for the same price but hey, it's the experience.

I would come here again for the soup.. once I strike the lottery.
