Since the
night was still
early not very late, we made room for dessert in the form of lemon meringue cake. It didn't look rich enough to knock us out for good. It was big enough to justify paying above RM 10 for a slice.
It's basically sourish meringue icing that's lightly torched to give that brownish hue. The cake itself was a bit too dry. The lemon filling in between the layers of cake were tad bit too sour. The meringue was thankfully sweet so that evened things out. Maybe this is one of those that's meant to be savored with coffee.
