Movies: Splice

What is it with Adrien Brody that sets my heart aflutter? Hot isn't a word to describe him. Nor does he possess the charisma to engage the audience. However, his puppy dog eyes certainly begs one to wrap arms around.

Or at least that's what he does to me.
He has the ability to make you sympathize with him. Yes, that's it.

A sci-fi that is engaging from start to end, this movie felt like a real possibility of how interspecies could take place. What if you take different features of different species in the world to come up with one possibly perfect being? Of course, in reality, we are far from it but if you think within the realms of mankind alone, look at how diverse our race has become. We are no longer just Chinese or Black or white.

This movie has an interesting plot, worth the time. Even if it was released back in 2009. Goddamn, Adrien Brody just doesn't age. Like Jared Leto.
