With quite a number of branches in Klang Valley, this is one that I paid a visit to recently. Compared to my other visits at other branches, I am happy to report that generally, the quality of their food is quite the same. Service, on the other hand, is another story altogether. However, it can't be blamed in this place that has a dearth of good reasonably priced food.

The ordering here is relatively simple:
  • Wet or dry? Your noodles, not your  state of sex life
  • Thin, thick or pulled? Not your hair but the texture of your noodles
My personal preference really depends on the weather. On rainy days, nothing like a bowl of hot soup to make it better. But thin noodles will be my base choice as it's less messier than the other two choices. Of course, if they sell just one style of pan mee, they wouldn't have expanded far and wide with the lala and bengs making this their dating joint.

Signature dry noodle with fried anchovies, minced meat and soft boiled egg. The noodles themselves don't have much of a taste. It's really the condiments that make this a bowl of happiness. They also have the spicy version which is almost the same thing except with more dried chili which is rather pointless as you can take as much as those you could possibly consume (and your rear hole could withstand). People like to mix everything up together, egg included to give the noodles a slimy texture.

I would usually make my own mix with each bite instead. Maybe more anchovies now. Then chili. Some egg when the heat is too much to handle.

Minced pork dry noodle. The same noodle is given a different treatment in the form of a gravy pork. Those deep fried bits (suspect it's fish) were utterly addictive. It's similar to the Taiwanese lu rou fan. Most of the dried noodles would come with a small bowl of soup with veggie that's a welcomed relief when you can't taste anything anymore from the chili overdose but then you'd be burning your tongue with the heat from the soup next.

It's stupid but I love the dried spicy chili and the hot soup, one after another.
Prices are below RM 10 which is bang for your bucks ringgit too.
