Appearing on multiple must try lists (best nasi lemak, best breakfast etc), I don't particularly like the idea of waking up early to queue up in (possible) heat for nasi lemak regardless of how good it (supposedly) is. We were there close to 11am and luckily enough, managed to secure a table without having to wait long. It's not unusual to see people standing around, hawking and hovering over the tables like vultures. Don't think that takeaways would be quick; the queue is even longer and wait is more unbearable.

But fear not. Go grab some deep fried Chinese snack from a nearby van while waiting for a table. Not the best but it'll be better than nothing.

 Teh tarik RM 2.90
Rather smooth but tad bit sweet for my liking.

Nasi lemak with curry sotong RM 9
Over cooked non-vertebrate seafood is usually not good. This is of no exception but at least the curry more than makes up for it.

Nasi lemak with fried chicken RM 8.50
For starters, the portion looked rather small but the meat is of substantial size. The rice is fragrant while the sambal is not too spicy. More sweet than usual.

Was it worth the wait? Well, the meat is juicy and marinated well. It was delicious but I wouldn't wake up early just to wait for it.
