Review: Wong Soon Kee, Subang SS14
So this is the same spot as before only that Lim Fried Chicken no longer operates a stall here. Still, it doesn't mean that there isn't anything here of good. For starters, the coffee was a-ok. Although the star attraction is no longer there, the crowd is still bustling, thanks to the entrepreneurship of the mix rice stall in offering the very same dish. How does it fare in comparison?
The stall does have a rather good variety of dishes and fried chicken being two of them. This version is close enough with the crispy skin and tender meat.
The other version had hints of spices and curry leaves, like the kind you get from mamak. Using lean meat, it tasted all right but too dry.
