At jl's suggestion, we met up here for lunch slightly past lunch time but on Sundays, lunch seems to stretch all the way past 2pm as the restaurant was  still packed then. After waiting for a table, we waited to place our order. More waiting ensued thereafter. It took our food a good half hour to arrive. They were quite familiar with this as they put up notices about potential waits especially during peak hours. Given how that is a trend, maybe you should look into your forecasting?

Iced hazelnut coffee and syrup bandung, both at RM 3.50 and not diluted which is a plus given its location. However, I highly suspect my coffee came from those instant packets.

Popiah set RM7
You can get this cheaper at night markets. But night markets also don't provide seats in an air conditioned setting. As someone who's not a fan of popiah in general, they were pretty all right with the usual filling of turnip, cucumber and eggs.

Claypot chicken rice RM 8
Different from the usual stall, this one is pork free which means no pork lard or even lap cheong so it didn't have that aromatic flavor. There were bits of salted fish but it was too late by the time they were discovered. Thus, be sure to give it a good stir to mix them all around for a more balanced flavor.

Fried laksa RM 8
Their call to fame dish, it's like stir fried loh shu fan using laksa paste. It turned out to be rather spicy but luckily, they did well in making this dry instead of wet.

Claypot assam laksa RM 8
It was a hot day but I had a hankering for something hot and soupy. This fit the bill perfectly except that it left me sweating from the heat, both the temperature and chill spice. The claypot does bring the dish to a different dimension as compared to a normal bowl. As generous as they were with the noodles, they weren't as with the fish.
