I remember when this place first opened up. As it was close to my (then) office, there were few occasions when we had dinner here. The food was quite good albeit expensive. Fast forward few years, my salary has increased. Just not fast enough to catch up with their menu as they have also increased their prices.

Smoked duck aglio olio RM 31: smoked duck breast, wild mushroom, herbs and garlic in olive oil
What's not to love about the simple flavors of an aglio olio? A dash of chili flakes would have been perfect here to give it a dash of heat. The fried garlic flakes did all right in their place. A rather hearty rendition of an otherwise light pasta dish. You can taste the mushroom flavor alongside the duck.

Alla pescatore (mixed seafood risotto) RM39: Prawn, calamari, clams, mussel and white fish fillet, slow cooked with Italian Arborio rice with a dash of Roma tomato sauce and topped with Parmesan cheese.
The first thing that hits you is a whiff of the cheese. The seafood was unfortunately overcooked (I suspect they baked this and served immediately after) that the fish almost turned into a mush. All that aside, it was a very hearty dish, polar opposite to the aglio. So rich that it was almost decadent. I would recommend ordering this only if you are really hungry, absolutely loves cheese and tomato sauce as towards the end, it was difficult to finish it on my own despite being quite famished in the beginning.
