There are so many steamboat restaurants around, how do you pick the best? I don't know if this one is the best since their Puchong branch closed down but this one seems to be doing fairly well. That's why you should come early to get not only a table but also parking.

Compulsory chili sauce and not-so-compulsory-but-much-appreciated fried shallots. They do add a nice touch of savory flavor to the soy sauce.

Ordered the set for two. It doesn't look much but you do get fresh ingredients and that's what really matters.

Of course, you could add on more from the menu if you could still eat after the noodles and eggs. I find that these are the fillers. Cheap but does the job well.

As any decent steamboat fan would say, Coco's soup is one of the better ones. While the Pulau Ketam version would use seafood as base, Coco opts for a milder but no less tasty pork bone. Simmered long enough with white radish, it almost tastes like a home cooked soup. But make no mistake, it gets stronger and stronger as the meal progresses. Unless you literally just drink the soup and don't cook anything in it.

Then wtf you doing there?? 😧
