Pokok, KL

Would you categorize this hood as being KL? I would think it's more PJ though it is bordering to KL. Meaning tree in Malay, the place is somewhat surrounded by trees which you'll get a full view even when sitting inside.

Just because their wall and ceiling are mostly glass. If you want to get your money shot, come in during the day time when it's all sunny. Don't be fooled by these, my Huawei Mate 10 just happened to make it brighter than it was (this was at 7pm -_-) .

Yuzu lemonade RM 10. When an orange got married with a lemon, you get yuzu as the offspring, that's the best way to describe its taste. Not too sour nor sweet, this has a nice citrus kick to balance the sweet soda. But RM 10? Bleh.

Sauteed mushroom and scrambled eggs croissant RM 20
Already not a big fan of mushroom, I didn't appreciate their laziness in cutting them up into chunky quarters. To make matters worse, they were over salted. Luckily there was enough of egg to balance the sodium. The croissant was all right, not fluffy or warm enough to make it good.

Chili padi pesto pasta with grilled chicken RM 25
You can have this as a vegetarian meal by omitting the chicken (we actually paid more for that). The chili isn't that obvious but you can taste a hint of it, thanks to the overpowering pesto. There were some mushrooms in here too, thankfully not very salty. A really hearty pasta that I recommend to enjoy while it's still hot.

As a cafe, they do serve coffee and cakes. Maybe once I've gotten over their below-mediocre service of not being attentive, refusing to clear a table then I'll try my luck again.
